Wayne Wong is a lecturer in the Division of Communication & Social Sciences at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University – Hung Hom Bay Campus. He received his B.A. and M.Phil. (Comparative Literature) from the University of Hong Kong. He specializes in the cultural imaginary of martial arts and its transfigurations in the context of digitalization and co-production. He currently teaches courses on popular culture, gender issues, and academic writing. His research interests include martial arts film studies, film theories, visual cultures, digital culture, game studies, critical theories and Hong Kong studies.
